Suzuki GSX-R1000 Ryuyo is an answer to all those who think only Ducati and BMW are bound to make lightweight machines with more power than its rivals. Tipping the scale at just 167.8 kg (dry), the Special Edition variant is limited to just 20 units, each one to be made by Suzuki Moto Italia. Each unit is priced at €29,990 (INR 25.52 lakh approx, direct conversion) and comes with 212 HP of maximum power. The name is derived from Suzuki’s own R&D center in Ryuyo where all new models are tested before they enter production at different locations.
The first factor in weight reduction is material use, which clearly comes to be carbon fiber in this case. Suzuki teamed up with market leaders from the component market and made this machine with lightweight and best possible parts of all time. Some prominent names among all are Yoshimura, Dunlop, Brembo, Ohlins, Motul, and K&N. Complete specifications for the model are arriving at EICMA 2018, leaving buyers with time to decide if the premium is worth consideration for their use or not. The motorcycle is really exclusive and very well priced for its level of sophistication.
A complete photo shoot with every possible angle is available for the motorcycle. The bike comes with 119 Nm of impressive torque and uses fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 front forks and TTX GP monoshock for a stable ride. Even after weighing so low, the GSX-R1000 Ryuyo Edition comes with a fully functional headlight and taillight. The bike comes with a custom front end that supports a bigger visor, single-seat layout with compact rear cowl and many more added goodies for that perfect superbike feel. A stock GSX-R1000 comes with 202 HP of maximum power and weighs close to 200kg with full fuel and all fluids.
