As per the latest details available, Suzuki’s upcoming 150cc cruiser motorcycles would be launched in India as Suzuki Intruder 150 and the launch event is scheduled on November 7. The 150cc motorcycle would primarily be competing with the likes of Bajaj Avenger 150 Street. Suzuki Intruder 150 will also be equipped with 1-channel ABS like Gixxer SF.

The all new 150cc Suzuki cruiser is one key product and latest development regarding the same hints at a cruiser that is inspired from Suzuki Intruder and not built around the GZ platform.

While the GZ150 was a great option, getting more bulk like an Intruder could fetch Avenger buyers more easily. As current range of Suzuki products are quite exciting and equally capable, new entries are must to speed up this sale target and achieve it before time runs out for Indian management.

Suzuki will consider part sharing as the easiest method to keep overall manufacturing cost low and thus, Gixxer 155 will share its 154.9cc, single cylinder, air cooled motor with the new 150cc Suzuki cruiser. The engine may or may not develop 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque as brands use a different tune in cruiser motorcycles than standard street and sport variants.

Surprisingly, Suzuki will launch this product on November 5 and till date, no test mule was spotted for the mystery cruiser. They will try their best to keep its pricing under INR 80,000 to challenge everything that falls in this price bracket.

Strict rival for the all new 150cc Suzuki cruiser is Bajaj Avenger 150 Street. It feels much under-powered and that gives Suzuki one chance to pull buyers into their stable. Known for their feature loaded appeal, Suzuki India can offer rear disc brake, all digital instrument console and unique alloy wheel design for their newcomer.

Expected to be inspired by none other than 1800cc Intruder M1800R, the new motorcycle could carry dual tone paint finish and typical Intruder style headlight fairing. Suzuki India will also launch an all-new scooter to boost their gear-less vehicle sales in the coming months.
