Suzuki Intruder Fi was recently launched in India for INR 1,06,896 (ex-showroom Delhi). The model comes second in newly launched Intruder 150 lineup as it was earlier available with carburetor assembly.
Suzuki is charging around INR 7,000 for this addition but same can be bought for INR 3,000 price difference in Gixxer SF lineup. Both bikes share same engine and components but have this unjustified price difference in terms of fuel injected and non fuel injected model.
As most people are shifting into comfortable cruisers for their daily commute, Suzuki introduced the new Intruder 150 for catering such new buyers.
They have achieved their targets much before expected dates but unfortunately, sales took a hit in Gixxer series of bikes due to Intruder’s entry. The six sensor system is great for better fuel efficiency. The affordability factor of Intruder is questionable as it falls within the 200cc street bike section with this enhanced pricing.
The motorcycle can be bought in metallic oort / matt black and glass sparkle black / metallic matt titanium silver. The engine on Suzuki Intruder is a 155cc, single cylinder unit producing 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
