According to the recent buzz, Suzuki will be launching the SV650 in the Indian market next year. In addition to this, the BS6-compliant variants of the Suzuki motorcycles as well as scooters will be launched shortly by the brand.
The Suzuki SV650 has been officially introduced by the brand internationally sometime ago while the Indian roads are expected to get its MY2020 variant. The brand will be bringing the motorcycle to India via the CKD route making it get a competitive price tag.
The neo-retro design language with easygoing ergonomics is one of the major features that will attract the customers to the 650cc Suzuki motorcycle. The optimized seat design in addition to a streamlined profile will make it one of the most attractive choices in its segment.
Powering the Suzuki SV650 is a 645cc, V-twin engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 76HP and a peak torque of 64Nm. The engine is further mated to a 6-speed transmission. Once launched in India, the SV650 will compete in the market with the likes of Ducati Monster 797, Kawasaki Z650 and the 650cc CFMoto motorcycle range.
