A new entry to the famous quarter liter lightweight motorcycles, Suzuki GSX-250R or famously dubbed Gixxer 250 looks amazing in its second production ready livery since its earliest spyshot. The bike clearly flaunts the GSX name on its side fairing, and GSX-250R nomenclature on the rear number plate . The Suzuki logo even moves down from the tank to the upper segment of the fairing, when compared to the Indian Gixxer SF.
This is it! Production-Ready Suzuki GSX-R250 (Gixxer 250)
The official unveil platform of the motorcycle is EICMA 2016 where it may find the largest audience for the year 2016. It was first spotted in single Tone Metallic Triton Blue shade in a production house while this time, it seems to be parked outside within a closed racing premises. It looks completely fresh and carries some of the bits from bigger capacity Suzuki motorcycles.
It is rumored to have some components from Suzuki Inazuma while the engine is again a mystery, revolving between a single cylinder and twin cylinder motor. More chances are there that it will carry the same Inazuma engine (248 cc, 2-cylinder) with minor tweaks in performance and throttle response.
The twin-cylinder Gixxer would be competing with Yamaha R3, Honda CBR250RR, and Kawasaki Ninja 300. But for India, Suzuki might launch the 250cc Gixxer with a single-cylinder engine, to compete with Honda CBR250R, KTM RC 200, and the upcoming Hero HX250R, Hyosung GD250R, and Kawasaki Ninja 250SL.
