The exciting news for all the bike enthusiasts and Suzuki lovers is that Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP have been revealed before they were to actually launch. The SP editions and the fully faired Gixxer is expected to be launched only in limited numbers. The design and other detailing continue to be same as that of the regular models.
Also, no mechanical changes are expected to occur in the SP edition of Gixxer. However, the SP editions would be launched in matte grey color marked by sporty chequered flag decals as revealed in the videos. Another thing that videos reflect is the dual-tone red black seats along with red rim stripes.

The duo will get a 154.9 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, carburetor-fed engine which can churn out 14.6 BHP of maximum power with 14 NM of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The duo are built on a tubular steel frame and the suspension duties are performed by conventional front telescopic fork and rear mono-shock unit.
The braking system involves disc brakes both at the front and rear. It has got 17 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110/80 (front) and 140/60 rear section tyres. The SP edition of Gixxer and Gixxer SF are expected to command a premium of INR 1000-2000 rupees over regular models. The SP models are expected to be launched officially in coming days.
