Entry of new models into the 600cc-1000cc segment has brought considerable changes to the top 10 list of August 2018. The rise of Kawasaki has made it harder for others to survive as they have claimed a number that was never seen for a liter-class sportbike. The list starts with Harley Davidson, scoring 134 units for Street 750 and 78 units for Street Rod in India. After the first and second position, next two went into Kawasaki lineup with ZX-10R entering the list at third position with 47 units and Ninja 650 getting 36 units in sales during the 31-day period.

The most affordable tag here goes to Harley Street 750. It has been in the first position for a long time, clearly showing user interest in cruiser-specific riding and trust in the American brand. The number has been higher in some months, even crossing collective sales of other premium brands in the country. The Harley range starts well around INR 5.25 lakh and goes up to INR 49.99 lakh.
