Top 10 Best-Selling Bikes in India (December 2018)

The top 10 best-selling bikes of December 2018 have a completely different result in comparison to all other months of the year. The manufacturers were offering heavy discounts and benefits on the products but still, the numbers are a fraction of the real calibre that these products have in them. Hero Splendor was still the highest selling motorcycle with 1,78,411 units while HF Deluxe was very close at 1,65,321 units. Both these bikes have crossed the 2 lakh unit mark in their best times.

The sudden fall in the sales number has made Bajaj Platina the third best selling product with 58,474 units in December 2018. Bajaj Pulsar is still the most selling sports machine in India with 56,737 units. Honda CB Shine scored just 49,468 units, further clearing the trend of reducing the number of units for the 125cc bikes. Classic 350 was one among the worst-hit products with just 34,325 units in December 2018. Bajaj CT 100 was the last product to cross the 30k mark with 30,743 units.

Hero Passion stood eighth with 29,614 units while TVS Apache was another best seller with 26,338 units. The tenth product on the list is Hero Glamour with 25,377 units. The products that earlier came in the first five were seen on the lower section of this list while many lost a huge share from their average number of 2018 in the last month.
