Top 10 Best-Selling Bikes in India: May 2018 was a lucky month for geared machines of India as Hero Splendor brought back the baton of glory into this typical segment by claiming the overall first position. The legendary motorcycle scored 2,80,763 units in May 2018, leading ahead of their own Hero HF Deluxe (1,84,131 units) by a big margin.

Both bikes are actually similar under their design lines and thus, Hero still dominates the geared motorcycle market like no other. Honda CB Shine got 99,812 units in May and proved that 125cc segment has an equal scope of success as smaller bikes. Hero Passion stood fourth with 96,389 units while Glamour got 72,102 units in May 2018.

Apart from these 5 typical commuters, the list also contains some really desirable products with class-leading performance and value for money Indian industry placement. Bajaj Pulsar is one among them and getting 70,056 units in sale confirms that they do not fear any competition from this similar segment. Bajaj CT100 got the seventh position and scored 64,622 units in the same period. Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the most expensive bike on this top 10 selling motorcycle list.

It scored 51,147 units in May 2018, leaving behind much popular TVS Apache (43,234 units) and Bajaj Platina (30,412 units). All bikes on this list are veterans of their department and bringing these numbers seems like an easy task to them. Many popular products were left behind due to change in buyer preferences.

Those looking for performance specific products can consider checking 150-250cc top bikes list for various months of this fiscal. That list includes certain commuter yet powerful products also. Only five brands out of all were good enough to reach these high five and six digit numbers in most months of a year.
