Top 10 Best-Selling Motorcycle Brands: November 2018 seems like a slow month for the majority of motorcycle manufacturers in India. Hero Motocorp is the highest selling brand with 6,01,045 units registered in the 30-day period. The market share of 36.5% is quite fascinating but the brand is known to cross 7 lakh units in several months.
Honda witnessed a downfall in comparison to the same month last year, posting 3,94,246 units and getting closer to the improved sales number of TVS (2,60,253 units). The fourth position goes to Bajaj Auto with 2,05,259 units. The number doesn’t include export-specific production.
Royal Enfield is facing slight downfall in comparison to November 2017 as the prices of their bikes are up by a considerable margin. The sales number for November 2018 was 65,026 units. Yamaha stood sixth with 60,116 units while Suzuki counts among the gainers with 53,058 units. The popularity of Access 125 and new Burgman has made them a renowned name among scooter lovers. Piaggio registered 5,933 units in the month of November, and it is the last brand to post a number that counts among the market share with 0.4% volume.
The next two brands belong to the premium performance segment. Harley-Davidson registered 286 units in November 2018 while Kawasaki was good for 203 units. The range of Harley motorcycles starts at INR 5.31 lakh while Kawasaki can be had from INR 2.98 lakh.
