The difference in ex-showroom and on-road price can be huge, depending on the engine size of the motorcycle (insurance segmentation). The one that seems affordable on paper can turn expensive with the respective brand charging more than usual than its rival. TVS Apache RTR 180, along with the newly introduced RTR 160 4V, can be had for an approx on-road price of INR 1 lakh. The prices can vary with different cities, not just going up but also coming down from the given value. You can negotiate the deal with your nearest dealership as most brands are offering free insurance policies (third-party) for the bikes. The year-end offers are available from most brands and practically, the motorcycles manufactured in 2018 will sell for discounted prices in the early months of 2019. Hence, the chances of getting better prices are more than ever.

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar 180 are two other products priced close to INR 1 lakh, with Suzuki Gixxer getting an entry to the list in-between both these bikes. The models listed here are without ABS as none of the ABS-equipped variant is available under the strict budget of INR 1 lakh (on-road). The list includes Yamaha FZ-S V2 Fi (single disc), Honda xBlade (non-ABS), Hero Xtreme Sports (single disc), Honda Unicorn 150 and Yamaha SZ-RR as the remaining five variants.
