Best-Selling 250cc-500cc Bikes in India: Royal Enfield Classic 350 not just claims a special place among top 10 best selling bikes, it also rules the specific 250-500cc motorcycle segment of India.
If these numbers are carefully inspected, one can confirm that buyers look into no other direction and get themselves a new Royal Enfield for sure. First four places out of five are bagged by RE bikes and more than that, the list contains 7 models from their lineup with five claiming four or even five-digit sales number.
Classic 350 was good for 51,147 units while Bullet 350 remained almost stable with 12,832 units. Thunderbird 350 claimed 4316 buyers while Classic 500 scored 2368 units. Yamaha FZ25 brought the never-ending RE steak to an end with 1856 units and fifth overall position.
Bajaj Dominar 400 was good for 1191 units in May 2018. Himalayan may not be an impressive product according to user reviews but still, getting 1067 units was an achievement in itself.
KTM 250 Duke came next with 671 units while bigger 390 bikes were good for 663 units combined. This makes KTM proud with their victory over insanely popular RR310. Honda CBR250R made a decent comeback with 557 units while Bullet 500 seems to slow down with passing months.
Even Thunderbird 500 has a similar story. Yamaha R3 was the only twin-cylinder machine to enter this list while Mahindra Mojo sold half the units when compared to this Yamaha racer.
