Best-Selling 250cc-500cc Bikes in India: The most interesting segment of bikes in India, 250-500cc section witnessed ups and downs due to newly launched products and higher than ever sales number for certain twin cylinder products.
Royal Enfield still dominate this area with Classic 350 and Bullet 350 selling 50,111 units and 15,382 units respectively. They were the only two options to get five digit sales number. Classic 500 and Thunderbird 350 followed next with 3,512 and 3,439 units in India.
Clear majority from Royal Enfield, only Yamaha FZ (2,036 units) and Bajaj Dominar (1,561 units) were capable enough to score four digit sales number in competition. TVS Apache RR 310 came next with 983 units while Royal Enfield Himalayan was good for 907 units. KTM 390 Duke and RC 390 were together good for 716 units while Bullet 500 scored impressive 473 units for March 2018.
KTM 250 Duke struggled hard against FZ25 but still got 437 units in sale during this period. Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 was good for 385 units while twin cylinder Kawasaki Ninja 300 crossed another benchmark by selling 115 units. Yamaha R3, the strict rival of Ninja 300, followed close with 96 units in sale. Mahindra Mojo got just 89 buyers in March 2018.
Honda CBR250R was not that lucky as only 80 buyers went forward to buy that reliable machine in India. More than that, twin cylinder Kawasaki Z250 and Versys 300 were good for 2 units and 1 unit respectively.
