Best-Selling 1000cc-2000cc Bikes in India: Bikes between 1000-2000cc in India are available through a handful of brands, many of which do not participate in number revealing practices. Still, April 2018 was a difficult month for many due to less than average numbers for popular brands and their highest selling motorcycles.
Triumph claimed the number one spot with Bonneville Speedmaster getting 21 buyers in this 30 day period. The number is even impressive as only Harley Fat Bob could try getting close with 17 units in sale in April 2018. Kawasaki Ninja 1000 saw a huge downfall as it was good for just 9 units.
The fourth position was bagged by Harley Davidson Forty-Eight as it brought 8 units in sale in April 2018. Triumph Bonneville T120, Harley Low Rider, and 1200 Custom shared the fifth position with 5 units each. These 5 top-selling 1000-2000cc bikes are impressively built and claim price tags between INR 9.99 lakh to INR 14.59 lakh.
Apart from these five ranks, some bikes were left behind but were lucky enough to enter the overall motorcycle sales list. Harley Fat Boy and Street Bob were good for 3 units each while Roadster, Street Glide and Kawasaki Z1000 score 2 units each in April 2018. Those getting 1 unit from Harley Davidson includes Deluxe, Road King, Road Glide and CVO Limited.
Suzuki Hayabusa fell to a miserable 1 unit sales number while Triumph Thruxton R and Kawasaki Ninja H2 even had the same fate. The month was quite tough for almost entire superbike segment as this huge drop was also seen among middleweight bikes on sale in the Indian market.
