4. Benelli TNT 25 (Rs. 1.68 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi)
DSK Benelli’s is the most economical offering for the Indian market which makes it stand among other street fighter bikes in this segment. It resembles a bit with the KTM 200 Duke but has a lot more to offer. Although it features a basic design but the white and red combination of the body along with decent looking alloy wheels manages to make its presence marked on the road. The TNT 25 gets its power from a 249cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine, liquid cooled engine capable to produce 28.16 Bhp @ 9800 rpm and 21.61 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The bike is mated to six speed gearbox and has an electronic fuel injection system for more precision in fuel usage.
The bike has a top speed 145 kmph and returns a mileage of 25 kmpl in city and 35 kmpl on highway. The TNT25 offers a comfortable riding position due to its low seat height of 780 mm. The bike features upside down telescopic forks front suspension and mono shock absorber rear suspension. The braking duties are done by 280 mm petal disc at the front and a 240 mm petal disc for the rear. The Benelli TNT 250 is not equipped with ABS(Anti-lock Braking System). The suspension abilities of the bike help in avoiding obstacles giving the rider a smooth experience.
