The list of top 5 most-searched 2-wheelers on Google India in 2019 is out and surprisingly features the KTM Duke 790. The motorcycle is one of the most premium offerings from the Austrian brand and was launched back on September 23, 2019, at a price tag of INR 8.64 lakhs (ex-showroom). In addition to this, all the other most-searched two-wheelers are the basic commuters and scooters targeted for a wider audience in India.
According to the list, the top position has been bagged by the Bajaj Pulsar 150. The 150cc commuter from Bajaj is one of the most cherished motorcycles in India that is affordable to the major Indian audience. The brand currently offers the Pulsar 150 at a price tag of INR 86,000. The brand has also launched the Pulsar 150 Neon, which is the most affordable version of the 150cc Pulsar series. At present, it is available at a price tag of INR 75,200 (ex-showroom).
Taking the second spot on the list of top 5 most-searched 2-wheelers on Google India in 2019 is the very popular Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It is one of the most desired cruisers in India that has a cult following and even one of the best-selling motorcycles under the brand’s portfolio.
The kick start variant of the Bullet 350 X is currently available in the market at a price tag of INR 1.14 lakhs while the electric start variant is priced at INR 1.30 lakhs. Powering the motorcycle is a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 19.8HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The third and fourth spot on the list has been bagged by the Hero Splendor Plus and the Honda Activa 125 while these two have a record of being the best selling motorcycle and scooter in the Indian market respectively. Both the products have been recently updated with a BS6-compliant engine. Comparing the list with that of the 2018’s, the Jawa motorcycles have lost their spot to the Pulsar 150 while the TVS NTorq scooter in 2018 has lost its place to the Honda Activa 125.
