Tork T6X Spotted Testing in India for the First Time

Tork T6X, the much-celebrated electric motorcycle from the Indian brand was spotted testing for the first time in India. The motorcycle is wrapped in a camouflaged body to hide all the details regarding the shades available and the changes made to the concept form. The visible changes are not so prominent while they could have made changes to the electric setup to bring better riding condition for the owner. The 6kW motor used on Tork T6X is good for 27 Nm of torque and helps the motorcycle claim 100 kph of top speed. The expected launch for T6X will take place before Auto Expo 2020 for sure.

The headlight is supporting a prominent cowl here while the battery pack takes the entire engine bay under control on the motorcycle. The tank design and shrouds are also impressive for a motorcycle that is using eco-friendly power for its existence. However, the tank is available for design purpose only as T6X is available with all electric drivetrain only. The exposed frame adds a sporty touch to the motorcycle while disc brakes at both the ends add safer braking to its portfolio. The front suspension duties are performed by standard telescopic forks while rear comes with a monoshock.

The electric bikes with a capacity of less than 11 kW are using CBS as standard while those above the limit will use ABS in India. Tork T6X comes with a 4.3-inch digital console, LED turn indicators and much more on offer as standard. The pre-bookings for T6X opened in 2016 for INR 1.25 lakh while the price is expected to rise during the launch period. The launch of T6X will offer the first-of-its-kind product to the Indian bike buyers as electric products were limited to just scooters till date in the country.
