The 2020 Triumph Bobber TFC has been recently unveiled by the brand at the EICMA 2019 at a price tag of £15,500 (INR 14.11 lakh, approximate) in the UK. The motorcycle is the third product under the brand’s custom motorcycle wing called Triumph Factory Customs (TFC), which also includes the Thruxton TFC and Rocket 3 TFC, revealed earlier this year.
The recently-launched motorcycle features the same premium components offered to its elder siblings in addition to being more powerful. The Bobber TFC motorcycle is only limited to 750 units worldwide, making it one of the special edition motorcycles to be offered by the British brand.
The Bobber TFC is capable of generating more power by 10HP and a 4Nm of extra torque figures as compared to the 77hp and 106Nm offered by the Triumph Bobber and Bobber Black, currently available in the international markets. The increase in performance is justified by the use of lower-weight engine components such as low-inertia crankshaft, thin engine covers, balance shafts and a few more.
The exhaust system offered to the motorcycle has been specifically developed from titanium while the end caps have been designed with carbon fibre. The weight of the Bobber TFC has been further reduced by 5kgs with the use of major carbon fibre components as well as the lack of tail light.
The suspension duties are handled by Ohlins USD forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with a monoshock unit. The 2020 Triumph Bobber TFC has been equipped with disc brakes at either side with Brembo callipers. The rider can further operate the motorcycle in three riding modes namely: Road, Rain and Sport.
The custom paint scheme offered to the motorcycle adds to its exclusivity while the carbon fibre and the blackened-out body detailing continues to the suspension as well as the engine covers. The brand has not announced anything regarding the launch of the Bobber TFC in the Indian market as of yet.
