2018 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been officially launched in India for INR 81,490. This price tag belongs to single front disc variant with carburetor fed fuel assembly. Those looking for top spec variant that brings dual disc brakes and fuel injection will need to spend INR 89,990.
Both prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi. TVS plans to start the deliveries by next week. They have made this bike on a 4-valve platform and thus, buyers will now get 16.8 HP of maximum power and 14.8 Nm of impressive torque. That makes RTR 160 4V the most powerful motorcycle of its segment.
TVS Apache RTR 200 is clearly seen alive within this motorcycle. If one avoids watching that single long seat and silver finished panels, knowing the engine size will be almost impossible for an amateur eye.
RTR 160 4V uses an oil cooled engine and offers class leading performance figures for sure. The only factor that brings down excitement is 147 kg of wet weight for top spec model.
This makes it almost equal in weight to FZ25. Also, segment bikes weigh under 140 kg and TVS simply just got this figure a lot over average 150cc bikes.
The powerful engine is claimed to perform 0-60 kmph in 4.73 seconds while Showa tuned suspension is said to support track specific riding in the best possible manner. Buyers will love to use the highly loaded, white back-lit console on RTR 160 4V as it is the identical unit that was first seen on Apache RTR 200.
