The 2020 BS6 TVS XL 100 has been recently launched in the Indian markets at a starting price tag of INR 42,362. The brand further ensures that the BS6-compliant variant of the XL 100 is capable of offering a rise in the mileage by 15% when compared to the one offered by its BS4 counterpart.
Equipped with EcoThrust Fuel Injection (ETFi) technology to comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms, the BS6 2020 TVS XL 100 is now powered by a 99.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 4.4HP @ 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 6.5Nm @ 3,500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a one-speed gearbox mated to a centrifugal wet type clutch.

With the all-new fuel injection technology, the moped is now capable of offering better throttle response thereby offering a better riding experience and improved fuel efficiency by a total of 15%. The brand has further equipped the BS6 TVS XL 100 with a Comfort i-TOUCHstart switch that allows the rider to start and stop the moped with a single switch which was not available in the BS4 variant of the vehicle.
The instrument cluster on the updated moped now features an On-Board Diagnostics Indicator (OBD I) while all other features on the BS6-compliant model have been carried over from the BS4 version.
