Powering the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve BS6 engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 16.02HP @ 8250 rpm and a peak torque of 14.12Nm @ 7250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The BS4 version of the motorcycle, on the other hand, was good for 16.8HP of power and 14.8Nm of utmost torque. The customers can avail the Apache RTR 160 4V in Racing Red, Metallic Blue, and Knight Black colours.
Powering the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is the same 197.75cc oil-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve engine though, being BS6-compliant, the torque generated by the motorcycle has declined a bit. The engine is now capable to develop a maximum power of 20.5HP @ 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 16.8Nm @ 7500 rpm. In comparison to the BS6 model, the BS4 variant of the motorcycle was good for an utmost torque of 18.1Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Powering the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 180 2V is a BS6-compliant 180cc, oil-cooled engine that is now capable of offering maximum power of 16.8HP and a peak torque of 15.5Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power value of the motorcycle has been increased by 0.2HP when compared to the 16.6HP of maximum power offered by its BS4 counterpart though the torque figure remains the same.
Powering the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is a BS6-compliant 159.7cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is now capable of offering maximum power of 15.3HP and a peak torque of 13.9Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures have significantly improved for the motorcycle with the addition of a fuel-injected engine that replaces the carburetted engine equipped on its BS4 counterpart.
