According to recent reports, the 2020 BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 is expected to be launched in India soon. The on-road price tag of the updated motorcycle recently also surfaced online. Getting a premium of around INR 40,000 when compared to the BS4 variant of the RR 310, the BS6 model of the sportbike will be getting an on-road price tag of INR 2.98 lakhs.
Since the price tag for the BS6 variant is quite hefty, one can easily justify the increase in the price considering the recently revealed spy shots of the motorcycle. The BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 has been spotted testing on the Indian roads for the first time and it features a dual-tone paint scheme.
In addition to the new dual-tone colour option, the updated motorcycle has also been equipped with a redesigned instrument console. The brand has now equipped the sportbike with an improved version of the vertical all-digital console that offers apt riding statistics. One can also expect the console to get Bluetooth connectivity in addition to getting many additional features.
Apart from these cosmetic changes, the BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 remains identical to its current-gen version. One can expect the BS6-compliant engine on the updated motorcycle to offer revised power and torque figures while the fuel efficiency is expected to get better.
The BS4-compliant TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by a 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 34HP and a peak torque of 27.3Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The RR 310 was offered an all-new glossy-black paint scheme this year in addition to a race-tuned slipper clutch. Since the motorcycle competes in the market with the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400, the enthusiasts are hoping for a substantial rise in power and torque figures for the BS6 2020 model of the TVS Apache RR 310.
