TVS Motor is India’s third largest brand in terms of sales volume. It was once behind Bajaj Auto but, gained more traction since the launch of Jupiter and Apache 160 4V. TVS Motor is a part of TVS group that deals in financial, automotive, manufacturing and many other prominent sectors of Indian industry. Apart from making motorcycles and scooters, TVS also deals in moped (TVS XL) and three-wheeler sales. The brand recently gained media attention with the launch of Apache 160 4V in India. TVS Apache range comes with RR 310, RTR 200, RTR 180 and RTR 160 as other members. The range of motorcycles spread well to the basic level with Victor, Star City and Sport as more economical options. Scooters on offer are Jupiter, Zest, Scooty Pep+ and Wego. Apache RR310, the most powerful TVS motorcycle ever built, comes with a powerful 312.2cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine. The output is quite satisfactory at 34 HP @ 9700 rpm and 27.3 NM @ 7700 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It comes with class-leading features like bi-LED projectors and USD forks.
