TVS Apache HP4 Race 310 is a fusion between two impressive brands, both of which are strategic partners for lightweight motorcycles in India. However, the HP4 Race is more like a dream for the entire BMW-Motorrad fan list, priced at INR 86.70 lakhs and still getting a track-onlyon its existence.
The owner of this modified motorcycle has used the tricolour theme from the BMW HP4 Race on his TVS Apache RR 310, even finishing the side fairing in a dual-tone white and black colour scheme to mimic the fairing seen on the HP4 flagship racer. Adding fins to the fairing would have lowered the cooling efficiency of the RR 310 and thus, were missed on the bike.
The upper section of the side fairing features the BMW moniker, HP4 Race branding, blue and red inserts along with the naming and red Apache RR 310 frame. The flowing side panel is white while the space between the front and rear seat is finished in the blue shade. The front golden forks are matching with the overall profile, are available as stock and looking as impressive as they look on a litre-class superbike.
Another great addition to the package is a Kawasaki Z800’s exhaust system, resulting in a roaring sound and unique right-side profile. The cost of this exhaust system is said to be over INR 1 lakh. TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by a 312cc, single-cylinder engine, producing 34HP of maximum power and 27.3Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a race-tuned slipper clutch as standard.
The same motor is employed in BMW G310R and G310GS, priced at Rs 2.65 lakhs and Rs 3.05 lakhs respectively. At present, the ex-showroom price of Apache RR 310 is Rs 2.65 lakhs in Delhi. The brand recently updated the sports bike with a new colour scheme and an all-new digital instrument console.
