Apache RR 310 Launched in India: TVS has finally launched the much-awaited RR 310 (Akula 310) in India for INR 2,05,000 (ex-showroom). The premium racer is one of its kind product in this segment, carrying a powerful 312.2cc, single cylinder engine. The motor is reverse inclined, liquid cooled and fuel injected as standard.
The four valve system makes this beautiful motorcycle good for 34 HP at 9700 rpm and 27.3 Nm at 7700 rpm. The engine comes mated to 6-speed gearbox and maintains idle speed of around 1700 rpm.
The frame is actually a split trellis unit with USD front forks and gas assisted shock absorber at both the ends. Apache RR 310 weighs 169.5 kg and claims 160 kmph of top speed.
Along with that, a rider will need just 7.17 seconds to sprint from 0-100 kmph. TVS Apache RR 310 takes just 2.93 seconds to reach 60 kmph from standstill.
Apart from the premium suspension components, the motorcycle comes with Bi-LED projector headlights, 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc, both equipped with ABS. TVS offers Michelin sourced 110/70-17 tyre at the front and 150/60-17 at the rear.
Riders get 810mm of accessible seat height and 180mm of adorable ground clearance. Due to its pricing, rivalry in the segment gets limited to KTM RC 390 only. Indirect rivals include Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Benelli 302R in India.
