What you see here is the patent design image of the upcoming and the most-awaited 300cc TVS sport bike, the Apache RR 310S. It will be sharing most of its parts with the upcoming BMW G310R. TVS is manufacturing the G310R for BMW in its plant in Chennai.

The parts for BMW G310R are being manufactured by TVS and both will share some of them in their bikes. TVS Apache RR 310S will use the same engine, exhaust, suspension and non-visible components with G310R. The engine tune is not yet disclosed but most probably, it will stay the same as G310R.

The expected price for the bike is around INR 1.60 lakhs for the base model and INR 1.75 lakhs for the 2-Channel ABS variant. Apache RR 310S was expected to be launched in July, but as per the latest details available it would be unveiled by the end of this month or by mid of next month.

The much-awaited Apache RR 310S is expected to be unveiled officially around July-August and the price is expected to start from INR 1.60-1.75 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Update 1 | 27th May, 2017 | TVS Apache RR 310S Spotted Again | Best Ever Spy Photos!

Thanks to our fans Jay Johar and Nathan Reinhardt for sharing the spy photos of one of the most-awaited bikes in India. These are best ever and most clear spy photos of TVS Apache RR 310S (TVS Akula). It would be a first of its kind product from the Indian manufacturer, carrying premium features and rivaling the Bajaj Dominar in its engine segment.

These spy images were clicked somewhere on the Bangalore-Chennai highway and you can clearly see the LED DRLs, projector headlamps, the front USD suspension, rear tail light, and the all-digital instrument console. Akula concept was unveiled @ 2016 Auto Expo and it is a Russian word that stands for Shark as the design of this motorcycle is purely inspired from a Shark’s body design.

TVS Apache RR 310S looks huge and carries impressive list of equipment like petal disc brakes, sport spec rear mono-shock, optional ABS, USD front forks, LED lights and fully digital instrument console.

Apache RR is powered by a 313 cc, single cylinder engine that is good for 33.6 BHP at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and could claim around 150 kmph of top speed. It could be priced around INR 1.60-1.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Major rivals include KTM 250 Duke and Bajaj Dominar 400.
