TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Power Torque Increased: TVS Motor has just announced the launch of the updated model of Apache RTR 160 4V naked streetfighter in the Indian markets at INR 1.07 lakhs for the single disc version and INR 1.10 lakhs for the dual disc version. The major update comes in the form of increased power and torque values in addition to the reduction in weight by 2 kgs. Cosmetically, there are no changes and the 160cc motorcycle continues to be available in three colours: Racing Red, Knight Black, and Metallic Blue.

The updated model of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by the same 159.7cc single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine, which is now good for 17.63 HP of power at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. In comparison, the old model used to generate a maximum power of 16.02 HP and a peak torque of 14.12Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox. So, the updated model generates 1.61 HP more power and 0.61 Nm more torque. The rest of the hardware components like the console, brakes, suspension, and tyres, remain exactly the same.
