TVS Apache RTR 160 is one of the most sought-after motorcycles from the brand that is cherished across the markets it is available in. The motorcycle has been subjected to a host of customizations on a daily basis though, its newly customized MY2008 avatar by Brilliant Custom Motorcycles in West Java, Indonesia has surpassed them all. Say Hello to TVS Apache RTR 160 Scrambler!
The 160cc bike has been customized into a powerful scrambler making it look rather tough for all the streets. The customized scrambler in no way resembles the stock model of the Apache RTR 160 while the overall scrambler outlook shrieks of utmost perfection and is ready to tackle even the off-roads with its muscular profile.
Coming to the other finer details, the customizers have equipped the motorcycle with wider Shinko Trail Master E-705 dual-sport tyres that have been equipped on the Rossi spoke wheels. The motorcycle features a well-gained mass though the engine specifications have been kept the same.
Powering the customized MY2008 TVS Apache RTR 160 is the same 159.7cc, air-cooled, carburetted, single-cylinder engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 15 HP @ 8,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 13.1 Nm @ 6,500 rpm.
The customizers have equipped a custom battery unit in the motorcycle which perfectly tunes with a long and thin brown leather seat. The overall silver colour scheme with golden accents blends perfectly with the all-black body components. The front of the scrambler features a Triumph-style twin headlight unit adding to the authenticity while the rear has been stripped of the body panels and features only a tail light as well as the number plate.
The handlebar has been slightly raised while the suspension setup features USD forks at the front. The customizers have further shod the motorcycle with an in-house swingarm as well as a custom exhaust unit. The braking set-up on the stock machine has also been tweaked. The overall customisation of the TVS Apache RTR 160 into a scrambler by Brilliant Custom Motorcycles only required a total of IDR 3 million (INR 15,700, approximate).
