The TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS is one of the best looking street bikes in its segment. Like the Apache RTR 200, this bike also sports racing graphics which are meant to defy all limits and evade all speed radars. Unlike the 2018 model of RTR 180 which was equipped with a dual-channel ABS unit, the 2019 model has been downgraded, and it now comes equipped with a single-channel Super Moto ABS unit.
Mechanically, the Apache RTR 180 ABS is powered by a 177.4cc SI, 4-stroke, air-cooled carbureted UCAL BS-29 engine which produces 16.62 HP of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 15.5 NM of peak torque at 6500 rpm. The suspension of the bike is handled by conventional telescopic forks with hydraulic dampers at the front, and monotube inverted gas-filled Shox (MIG) with spring aid at the rear.
The braking performance of the bike comes from a 270mm petal-type disc at the front and a 200mm petal disc at the rear. The bike has got a decent ground clearance of 165mm and has a kerb weight of 137kg, making it one of the lightest street bikes in its class. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 12 litres. The TVS Apache RTR 180 is available in four colours: Pearl White, Matte Blue, Gloss Black, and T Grey.
