The third product designed from the partnership of TVS and BMW Motorrad, the TVS Apache RR 310 joined the portfolio with BMW G310R and G310GS back on Dec 6, 2017. The RR 310 fully-faired sports machine has been able to gather a lot of praise considering its design, style and performance while the rumours now suggest that the brand will be increasing the lineup with a naked RR 310 streetfighter.
Yogi Sejwal Design, one of the well-known rendering artists, recently rendered a very neat image of the TVS Apache RTR 310 (Naked RR 310). The rumoured version of the street motorcycle looks almost production-ready in the rendered image. The side fairing on the fully-faired RR 310 has been removed while the designer has offered the fuel tank with extensions inspired from the Apache RTR 200 4V which compliments the street styling further.
The large windscreen at the front that is seen on the base product has been removed and replaced with a smaller fly screen shod over the twin LED headlight setup. The streetfighter stance of the motorcycle is further accentuated with the use of conventional flat handlebar unit that replaces the clip-on handlebars seen on the fully-faired Apache RR 310.
Apart from the cosmetic changes accentuating its streetfighter character, the motorcycle is expected to remain mechanically unaltered considering the perfect performance ratios of the 2020 Apache RR 310.
One can expect the naked version of the RR 310 to be powered by the same 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 34HP @ 9700 rpm and a peak torque of 27.3Nm @ 7700 rpm.
If the brand actually considers bringing out the Apache RTR 310 (Naked RR 310) in the future, it would be one of the most affordable 300cc naked streetfighters across the country. At present, the RR 310 is available with a price tag of INR 2.40 lakhs while the naked version is expected to undercut its fully-faired sibling by around INR 40,000 to INR 50,000.
