TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is undoubtedly the most value-for-money product in its segment. It comes with a starting price tag of INR 1.40 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and the streetfighter is equipped with a 2-channel ABS unit as standard. TVS Motor also retails the Apache range in Indonesia and one of the owners has perfectly modified his RTR 200 4V, which now carries premium equipment and eye-catching highlights for improving the overall stance of the motorcycle, though the stock matte grey shade has been kept in place.
The motorcycle features red inserts on its fuel filler, tank scoops, brake callipers, footpegs, and side panels. The front gets gold-finished upside-down forks (USD forks) while the rear suspension has been kept the same as the stock unit. The small front disc brake has been replaced with two bigger petal disc brakes on this modified Apache RTR 200 4V. The headlight of the motorcycle is inspired by the TVS Draken concept while an extra-wide rear tyre makes the bike look very unique and impressive. The owner has even installed a different set of alloy wheels with a wide front tyre.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, BS6-compliant engine producing 20.8HP of maximum power @ 9000 rpm with 17.2Nm of peak torque @ 7250 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox while the motorcycle is good for 127kmph of top speed. The 152kg motorcycle comes with a 12-litre fuel tank and claims an impressive 180mm of ground clearance.
