2019 Yamaha R25 is now officially available in Indonesia for an on-road price tag of IDR 58.6 million (INR 2.90 lakh approx). The new version is identical to the R3 seen across developed markets like the US and Europe, carrying Matte Black, Racing Blue, and Matte Red as shades for the Indonesian market. The same design will feature on the India-spec R3 in the coming months while R25 will never make it to the Indian shores.
Yamaha has updated the R25 with front USD forks from KYB, further taking things to the next level with all-digital instrument console, LED front headlights and new fairing design. Mechanically, the R25 stays the same with 249cc, twin cylinder engine that is good for 35.5 HP at 12,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Indonesian version also uses an identical 14-liter fuel tank.
