EICMA 2018: Yamaha Tenere 700 Adventure Motorcycle Revealed

Yamaha Tenere 700 was an off-roader’s dream from the first glimpse in 2016. As most fans were expecting the middleweight machine to arrive this year, EICMA 2018 event report confirmed that it will take another one year for the bike to arrive in Europe and almost two years for the US market. The 689cc, parallel twin engine on the Tenere makes it good for 72HP of maximum power and 67.8 Nm of torque. The compact engine and narrow design helps in overall weight reduction.

The front fairing is neat and high enough to bring the real off-road feel to the rider. The ground clearance of 239mm makes it good for any type of terrain while the long travel front as well as rear suspension helps while climbing heights or taking potholes with ease. The face of Yamaha Tenere 700 is made out of four LED lights and clean LCD display with provision for GPS mounts makes things easier for adventure lovers.
