Yamaha FZ V3 and FZS V3 Price Increased Again: After increasing the price of the BS6 FZ V3 series by up to INR 4,500 back in November last year, Yamaha Motor India has now hiked the prices of the FZ V3 and FZS V3 again, this time by up to INR 1,000. The updated 150cc FZ series was launched in the Indian market back in November 2019. Here is the updated price list for the BS6 FZ V3 and the FZS V3:

Mechanically, the 149cc BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine powering the Yamaha FZ series is capable to generate a maximum power of 12.4 HP @ 7250 rpm and a peak torque of 13.6 Nm @ 5500 rpm.
In comparison, the BS4-compliant FZ models were good for 13.2HP @ 8000 rpm and 12.8Nm @ 6000 rpm. Therefore, the power has decreased by 0.8HP while the torque has increased by 0.8Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The BS6 Yamaha FZ series measures 1,990mm in length, 780mm in width and 1,080mm in height. The ground clearance of 165mm and the seat height of 790mm also remains the same. Both the FZ V3 and FZS V3 continue to feature an LED headlight and an LCD instrument panel.
