New Yamaha 150cc Adventure Motorcycle Officially Revealed

Yamaha has officially unveiled the 2022 edition of the entry-level adventure bike named Crosser 150 in the two-wheeler market of Brazil. The Japanese manufacturer has released an improved version of the Crosser 150 in the Brazilian market, complete with several additional features. These features make the bike’s appearance more appealing as well as enhance its practicality.

For this new model, the manufacturer has retained most elements of the ongoing bike’s design but also added some new paint shades as well as body graphics for the new iteration. Besides that, the brand has also replaced the halogen unit of the bike with an LED headlamp for better illumination. Not only that, a full-digital instrumental console has been added, along with a charging socket to keep your electric gadgets charged.

Speaking of the powertrain, powering the Yamaha Crosser 150 is a 149cc, 2-valve engine that churns out 12.2bhp and 12.74Nm. However, these power figures are not big enough, but the intriguing thing is that the bike can run on both petrol and ethanol and even produces 0.1bhp more when using the ethanol option. The engine comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The brand has offered the bike in two variants called Z and S for the international markets.

In terms of styling, the Crosser 150 has classic ADV elements such as a lofty stance, a beak-like construction up front, and a rough look with minimalistic body panels. It also has a small flyscreen upfront, which is a slight deviation from modern ADVs. Other aesthetic elements include a side-mounted high-slung exhaust, fuel tank extensions with air scoops, and arrowhead-shaped rearview mirrors.

As far as this bike’s arrival on our shores is concerned, it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. However, if it makes its way to India in the future, it might be a great alternative to the Hero Xpluse 200 bike.
