Yamaha Motor Indonesia recently revealed an official TVC for the all new Yamaha R15 V3.0. It can be seen racing on the track in its best form. It was officially launched in Indonesia on 23 January 2017, revealing the highest level of details that can be had for the motorcycle. Yamaha highlights the new LED lights, wider rear tyre, all new body design, USD front forks, slipper clutch, digital console and the new 155 cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation.

The engine on the R15 V3.0 is good for 19.04 BHP at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 8500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and weighs 137 kg on the 2017 version. Yamaha claims a speedometer indicated top speed of 144 kmph for the R15 V3.0. The rider now sits higher on the motorcycle as this helps in better cornering and control over the R15. It is now offered in Racing Blue, Matte Red and Matte Black internationally.
Yamaha R15 v3.0 is liquid cooled, fuel injected and also comes without ABS on the new version. The front disc now measures 282 mm while the rear is 240 mm in diameter. It measures 1990 mm in length, 725 mm in width and 1135 mm in height. Yamaha may launch the same in India in the last quarter of 2017 while Yamaha fans of Bangladesh can unofficially order and import a bike through their local dealer.
