Yamaha Motors officially revealed the 2017 Yamaha YZF-M1 at an event in Madrid, Spain. The venue for the same was Telefonica Moviestar headquarters while key people present at the event includes Kouichi Tsuji (GM Motorsports Division), Lin Jarvis (MD Yamaha Motor Racing) and Massimo Meregalli (Team Director). Apart from the board member, MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi was also present at the event.
Team Movistar Unveils 2017 Yamaha YZR-M1 and Rider Line-up
Jorge Lorenzo, the former member of the team joined Ducati Motorsport while Yamaha brought Maverick Vinales as the new recruit to their team. The pre season tests would begin on 30 January 2017 in Malaysia and more official presentations will continue for the year. The YZF-M1 has undergone a cosmetic surgery and now brings a new shade of Blue that goes in-line with the production models like R1 and R6.

The Moviestar logo feels better on the new shade while nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi feels that he can make it for the tenth time in this season. Maverick was even happy to join the team as he has been watching Rossi on the M1 from a long time and its now his time to show off some skill to his favorite rider. He simply feels that this is a dream come true for himself.
