Meet Yamaha XSR155 Scrambler, Tracker and Cafe Racer

The India-bound Yamaha XSR155 is currently available in Thailand at a price tag of 91,500 Thai Baht (INR 2.21 lakh, approximate). In addition to the stock model, the Japanese manufacturer also unveiled three custom motorcycles based on the XSR155. The brand has christened the new custom versions of the motorcycle as Scrambler, Tracker and Cafe Racer.

Stock Model of the Yamaha XSR155

According to the reports, the custom motorcycles were unveiled only for display at an event while the brand is not focusing on bringing all three into production anytime soon. Equipped with a host of magnificent cosmetic changes, all three custom motorcycles from Yamaha retain the same Deltabox frame as well as suspension and braking components.

Yamaha XSR155 Cafe Racer

Coming to the XSR155 Cafe Racer, the brand has offered the motorcycle with an old-school look that is accentuated with the use of overall silver finish as well as the chrome elements. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with clip-on style handlebar placed at a lower position to improve the aerodynamics. The fuel tank of the motorcycle has also been redesigned while the stock model’s fuel cap filler has been replaced with a retro-inspired chrome unit.

The pillion rider seat of the motorcycle has been replaced with a cowl equipped with a round tail light. In addition to this, Yamaha has also redesigned the exhaust system of the motorcycle to give it a cleaner look. The slick tyres equipped on the cafe racer gives it an authentic retro look. Like the stock model of the XSR155, the brand has equipped with Cafe Racer version with disc brakes at either end.

Yamaha XSR155 Scrambler

The XSR155 Scrambler features an authentic styling with an upswept exhaust system placed at a higher position while the custom bike features a tall front fender. The retro styling of the motorcycle is highlighted via the chrome bits used on the fuel cap while the tyre tread graphics on the fuel tank adds to its sportiness. The rear fender of the motorcycle has been redesigned with an aftermarket tail light. The use of knobby tyres, as well as ribbed single-seat setup, further adds to its scrambler design.

Yamaha XSR155 Tracker

Specifically designed for the flat track, the XSR155 Tracker has not been equipped with a headlight and a taillight. The front end of the motorcycle features a number plate in between the telescopic forks while the sleeker handlebar adds to its exclusive styling. The tracker is further equipped with a redesigned flatter fuel tank in addition to the chrome filler cap. The brand has also equipped the motorcycle with a custom exhaust system in addition to offering wider tyres.
