Yamaha recently launched a disc brake variant for its scooter Alpha in India at INR 52,556 (ex-showroom Delhi). The same now carries two new shades namely Marvel Black and Radiant Cyan while the disc brake variant is seen with new set of alloy wheels for its 10 inch tyres.
The scooter is powered by the same 113 cc engine on the complete Yamaha scooter lineup, producing 7 BHP and 8.10 Nm of torque. The scooter weighs 104 kg with full fuel and oil while returning a company claimed mileage of 66 kmpl.
It carries an under seat storage of 21 liters while its long seat provides maximum possible comfort to both rider and pillion. The seat height of 775 mm makes it equally good for foot placement on the floor whereas the Yamaha sport bikes inspired front end makes it one of the best looking scooters in the Indian market.
