The details of the upcoming 2020 Yamaha FZS 25 touring-oriented motorcycle has been revealed ahead of its official launch. The all-new addition to the quarter-litre segment portfolio under the brand will be positioned above the 2020 Yamaha FZ 25 that is also expected to launch in the coming days. The upcoming quarter-litre motorcycles from the brand which includes the 2020 Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 have been listed by the brand on its official website while the features and technical specifications have also been revealed. Powering the Yamaha FZ 250 series is the same 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air+oil cooled engine that is now BS6-compliant and capable of generating maximum power of 20.8 HP @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 20.1 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The white colour variant of the motorcycle features black alloy wheels setup while the other two have been imparted with golden alloy wheels. Coming to the hardware, both the Yamaha FZ 25 and FZS 25 have been equipped with disc brakes at either side mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The brand has not yet revealed the price tags of the upcoming BS6-compliant 250cc motorcycles though one can expect the FZ 25 standard variant to be priced around INR 1.38-1.40 lakh while the 2020 Yamaha FZS 25 is expected to get a premium of around INR 3,000 over the price tag of the standard variant.
