Yamaha M-Slaz Limited Edition was recently unveiled @ 2017 Thai Motor Show. This one of its kind machine comes wrapped in Grey body panels and Neon Yellow alloy wheels. Even the front suspension casing is covered in the same Neon shade for head turning looks.
Body detailing includes Neon lines passing through the tank shrouds and ending neatly into the number plate holder at the rear end. A trace of the same Neon Yellow shade is even found on the belly fan of this custom Yamaha M-Slaz. The same motorcycle is sold by the name Xabre 150 in Indonesia.
This custom M-Slaz was built as a tribute to French MotoGP racer Johann Zarco as one can see Zarco sticker (number ‘5’) at the front. Yamaha offers the M-Slaz with all digital instrument console, LED lights and USD forks for the best ever combination on a street bike.
They have even swapped the front and rear forks here for adjustable ones. Stock motorcycle comes with thinner front USD forks while rear lacks the reservoir that is seen on the custom motorcycle. M-Slaz now carries a different engine when compared to present generation Yamaha R15. The unit used here is 149cc in displacement.
As aerodynamic ability stays least on the naked fighter, Yamaha claims 130 kmph of top speed from the M-Slaz. It comes with single disc brake at both the ends while ABS was never on offer in any of the south Asian market. Yamaha M-Slaz may never launch in India as buyers consider moving into the super sport direction once INR 1 lakh mark is breached.
