Yamaha R15 Version 3 Launched in Nepal @ NPR 4.7 lakh (INR 2.95 lakh)

Yamaha R15 Version 3 has been launched in Nepal for NPR 4.7 lakh (INR 2.95 lakh). The most powerful 150cc motorcycle is manufactured in India and exported to the neighboring country via the completely built-up route. Morang Auto Works, the authorized distributor for Yamaha bikes in Nepal, will take up the charge and help fans fulfill their dream of owning a lightweight yet powerful track racer. Apart from Yamaha, even TVS has launched the popular NTorq 125 and Apache RR310 in Nepal. The entire lineup from Indian as well as global brands are brought through the CBU route in Nepal.

Yamaha R15 Version 3 is available in two shades, Thunder Grey and Racing Blue. When compared to the price of R15 in India, R15 feels very expensive for an engine size of 155cc. Priced at NPR 4.7 lakh (INR 2.95 lakh) in Nepal, even the India spec Ninja 300 is priced at a similar point, which will definitely rise to an even bigger number if launched in Nepal. The motorcycle measures 1990mm in length, 725mm in width and 1135mm in height. The 155.1cc, single-cylinder engine with variable valve actuation is good for 19.3 HP and 15 Nm. The lack of ABS will soon be fulfilled by a dual channel unit as the deadline for non-ABS bikes is going to end soon.
