Yamaha R15 Version 3 Price Increased Again: Yamaha R15 Version 3.0 is everything worth the hype, from power focused performance to the stunning design, the bike has been a crowd favourite ever since its release in India. At present, YZF-R15 Version 3 is the India’s most-powerful 150cc bike and it was launched in February @ Auto Expo 2018 with a price tag of INR 1,25,000. Yamaha hiked the price of Version 3 by INR 1000 on June 14 and now the brand has hiked its price again by INR 1000. The bike is now listed for INR 1,27,000 on the official Yamaha website.
Coming to the remarkable design, it gets twin-eye LED headlights with air duct mounted between the both to give a beast look. The Yamaha R1 and R6 inspired looks of the bike has made it land on the premium category with an affordable price range. The sculpted fuel tank along with the up-swept exhaust and a nice fairing that keeps the engine exposed compliments its race bike look. The overall extraordinary design demands attention on the road.
The Yamaha R15 Version 3 is powered by 155.1 cc single cylinder engine which gives out a maximum power of 19.3 hp @ 10,000 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 15 Nm @ 8500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking duties are handled by 282mm single disc brake at the front and a 220mm single disc brake at the rear. It gets conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock rear suspension. The only let down is the non-availability of ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
