Classic Legends officially launched Yezdi Motorcycles today, gifting Yezdi fans with three all-new bikes. Of these three, the Yezdi Scrambler is designed in retro-modern styling and is offered in two variants, named Single Tone and Dual Tone. The Single Tone, which starts at Rs 2.05 lakh, gets three attractive shades, including Fire Orange, Outlaw Olive, and Yelling Yellow, while the Dual Tone, which comes with a starting price of Rs 2.11 lakh, gets Midnight Blue, Mean Green, and Rebel Red shades.
As far as the booking and deliveries are concerned, the interested buyers can book the bike through the company’s official website or an authorised dealership by paying a minimal amount of Rs 5,000. Also, as mentioned on the brand’s website, the booking amount is completely refundable in case of cancellation. It was also announced at the launch event that the bikes have already reached the dealerships and that the deliveries and bookings have started from today.
In terms of styling and features, the 2022 Yezdi Scrambler gets both on-road and off-roading capabilities. It gets a simple seat, a classic round tank, a tucked-in headlamp, an LCD speedo pod that delivers information like trip meter, distance to empty, time and gear indicator, an upright commanding handlebar position, spoke wheels, typical scrambler twin exhausts, a rear tyre hugger, on and off-road tyres, a front fender beak and much more.
When it comes to the powertrain, the Scrambler is also powered by the same 334cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, but it generates 29.10 PS of max power at 8000rpm and 28.2 Nm of max torque at 6770rpm when coupled to a six-speed, constant-mesh gearbox. This motorcycle is built on a double-cradle chassis, and the suspension comprises telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin shocks at the rear. Braking duties are assigned to disc brakes at both ends and support three ABS modes called “Road,” “Off-Road and “Rain.”
