The much-anticipated Renault Triber has been launched in India at a starting price tag of INR 4.95 Lakh. The ultra-modular 7-seater MPV features a lot of premium bits in addition to an excellent design language. The customers can avail the Renault Triber in 5 colour variants namely: Metal Mustard, Electric Blue, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver, and Ice Cool White. The ultra-modular tag of the MPV is justified by the 50:50 split at the second row while it gets a 60:40 split at the third row. The MPV can be further used as a 5-seater by removing the third row. The five-seater mode of the MPV has been christened as 'Life Mode' by Renault where the passengers have access to 625 litres of boot space. On the other hand, the 7-seater 'Tribe Mode' offers the passengers only 84 litres of boot space. The front fascia of the Renault Triber features a Kwid-inspired grille mated to projector headlamps. Coming to the interiors, the brand has equipped the Triber with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in addition to standard premium features such as cooled glove box, multi-information display, second and third rows AC vents, power steering, power windows and more. The steering mounted audio controls, as well as automatic climate control, have been given a miss by the brand. Powering the Renault Triber is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 72HP and a peak torque of 96Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
