Audi A4 became the best selling car in 2021 and keeping in mind this successful sale, the company launched a new trim namely Premium, on 6th December 2021. Before this, only two trims of this Audi car were in the market as Premium Plus and Technology. It is the second cheapest Audi car in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price of Rs 39.99 Lakhs. The Audi Premium Plus variant costs Rs 3,70,000 more than the Premium variant.
Talking about its exterior, the Premium variant gets the same LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lamps, LED taillamps and glass sunroof and these features are also present in Premium Plus. Interiors are stunning, the cabin houses an Audi sound system with a 10-inch display screen infotainment system with single-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging pad, cruise control with speed limit and a single coloured ambience light. The safety kit includes six airbags, a Parking Aid plus and a rearview camera.
Audi A4 Premium comes with a sole 2.0-litre TFSI turbocharged petrol engine that generates 190 hp of power and a top torque of 320 Nm. The engine produces this much power and torque in collaboration with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and the power is transferred to the front wheels and the top speed of the Audi A4 Premium is claimed to be 241 kmph. Audi A4 is now available in three variants namely, Premium, Premium Plus and Technology with ex-showroom prices of Rs 39.99 lakh, Rs 43.69 lakh, and Rs 47.61 lakh, respectively.
Commenting on the introduction, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented on the introduction, stating that the Audi A4’s launch in January has gathered a great response from the customers as now the customers have three variants to choose from. The launch of the new variant is the mark of success the company gained during the sales of Audi A4 Premium Plus.
