Audi recently showcased its flagship Q8 Concept at 2017 North American Motor Show. The Concept car is a base for an all new model that will enter production in 2018 and would be an elegant option to the buyers. The car measures 5.02 meters and offers 3 meters of extensive wheelbase. Audi Q8 can be called as an Audi in its peak form. The car is 2.04 meters wide and command respect with its ultra wide aesthetics.
The front octagonal grill is actually larger than anything that can be offered on the current generation of cars. The car comes with dynamic lighting function and matrix LED technology in its sharp headlights. The best part for the doors is that they can be operated via touch sensors and have no frames at all. The rear features a strip of light all across the body. The same acts as brake light, turn indicator light and simply the tail light.
Audi Q8 SUV Concept Makes Global Debut
The car was finished in a shade of Bombay Blue and carries brushed aluminum lower section for visual enhancement. The Audi Q8 concept features spacious interior for 4 passengers and their luggage. The boot can have up to 630 liters of luggage while the interior provides best finish through the use of premium upholstery. The dashboard is dual tone and carries a futuristic instrument console. The infotainment screen is called Black Panel on the new Audi Q8.
Audi Q8 Concept offers a 3.0 liter TFSi engine with plug in hybrid option. It produces 329 Bhp and 500 Nm of torque. When combined with the electric power, the car is good for 443 Bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an eight speed tiptronic gearbox. It just takes 5.4 seconds for 0-100 kmph and claims a top speed of 250 kmph (electronically limited). It claims to use 2.3 liters of fuel for 100 kilometers. Audi provided 305/35-R23 wheels on the Q8 Concept.
