Bentley Bentayga Diesel Unveiled with 435 HP and 900 Nm

Bentley has officially revealed the Bentayga with a 4.0L V8, triple charged diesel engine. It is the first time ever in the history of the brand when a car has been powered by a diesel heart. The world's most powerful and fastest diesel SUV produces 435 HP and 900 Nm of torque @ 1000-3250 rpm. The car takes just 4.8 seconds for a 0-100 kmph run while the top speed is rated at 270 kmph. The engine comes mated to a 8-speed ZF transmission and uses twin turbochargers as well as an electric powered supercharger. The supercharger starts working from the idle state, transferring the whole 900 Nm of torque at the startup only. The rest of the lag is taken care by the twin turbochargers, providing a non stop power packed driving experience.

The same system was seen in Audi SQ7. As per the officials from Bentley Motors, the Bentayga was engineered for the V8 from the very beginning, taking care of the utmost comfort and safety of the passengers. They called this as the right time to introduce such a product as Bentley believes to be sure for everything before a car is launched. The exterior differences on the car includes twin exhaust pipes on both the sides, 20 inch ten spoke alloy wheels and V8 Diesel badge on the front door's lower edge. The car carries all of the other features from the W12 Bentayga, including important safety features like Cross Traffic Warning, Electronic Night Vision and 4 cameras for surround security.
