2019 BMW Z4 Launched in India @ INR 64.90 Lakh

BMW has finally launched the latest generation of the Z4 Roadster in India for INR 64.90 lakh. This sporty car comes with sDrive 20i and M40i configurations, based on the Concept Z4 that was showcased by the company at the Pebble Beach show. It features signature BMW features like the kidney grille, which stands out from the rest with its mesh inserts.

2019 model of Z4 also has a similar long bonnet design as the other BMW cars, with sporty swept-back headlamps and a wide air intake. The front windshield is raked and accompanied by a soft rooftop, which diverges from the original hardtop retractable unit that was seen in the previous generation.

There are sleek wraparound tail lamps and a ventilated rear bumper at the rear. The spoiler has been integrated into the boot over the twin-exhaust system. On the inside, there is a new three-spoke steering wheel and a larger iDrive infotainment system in the centre that is tilted towards the driver for easier access while driving.

There are metal accents all around in the interior, with other features such as a large digital instrument panel. Other features include adaptive LED headlamps, dual-tone 19-inch lightweight wheels, Vernasca leather seats finished in black, an audio system by Harman Kardon, a heads-up display, ambient lighting in the interior, and mirror caps finished in black.

The star feature on the Z4 is the engine options, with even the least powerful options featuring 197 HP and 320 Nm through the 2.0L engine. This engine is good for 0-100 kph in 6.6 seconds while mileage is rated at 14.37 kmpl. The bigger 3.0L engine on the car is good for 340 HP and 500 Nm, leaving the owners shocked with supercar-like 4.5 seconds, 0-100 kph sprint. The claimed mileage for the Z40 M40i is 12.82 kmpl.
