BYD Atto 3 Electric SUV Bookings Open in India For Rs 50,000

Chinese EV company BYD is all geared up to make a mark in the Indian 4W EV segment. BYD debuted in India with e6 and was initially only offered for fleet owners.

BYD Atto 3 electric SUV has pretty much everything that an Indian EV buyer would want from their SUV. A strong and sporty posture adds to the vigorous aesthetics of the Dragon Face 3.0. This design language is led by Wolfgang Egger, BYD’s Design Director.

BYD will offer a rotatable touchscreen infotainment system on the Atto 3. Android Auto favours vertical screen orientation and Apple CarPlay favours horizontal. BYD is offering both orientation options to the buyers for the Infotainment system.

The Atto 3 electric SUV’s larger 60.48 kWh battery promises 521 km of ARAI-certified range. BYD Atto 3 is powered by the Blade Battery and has passed the nail penetration test. It is equipped with the born EV platform (e-Platform 3.0). BYD ATTO 3 features fast charging from 0% to 80% within 50 mins. It can speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7 seconds.

It comes with features such as multi-colour gradient ambient lighting that responds to music rhythm, NFC card key, voice control, 8-speaker audio system, mobile phone wireless charging, one-touch electric control tailgate, electric seat adjustment, LED headlamps and rear lights, PM 2.5 air filter, CN95 air filter, etc.

7 airbags, a sporty and powerful exterior and rhythmic interior, L2 ADAS BYD Dipilot, a 12.8-inch adaptive rotating suspension electronic pad, 360° holographic transparent imaging system, VTOL, panoramic sunroof, mobile power station and other leading configurations, make this car competitive in the market.

BYD promises to participate in the 2023 Auto Expo and come up with multiple new products. Bookings are open for this EV at a nominal price of Rs 50K.
